Ditto on the beans.I think they'd be a nice seasoning for beans or black-eyed peas.

A few months ago I signed up to get a fruit/veg box delivered. It's all produce that gets rejected by the major supermarkets because it's not "pretty" enough & would normally end up in landfill. I get a box delivered once a fortnight - here's a pic of my latest. Lots of yummy goodies ...

I buy the blemished ones that are bagged up at Morelo's Market and they're like 33% cheaper.I see absolutely nothing wrong with that produce![]()
Cost passing too! We still have to pay for those. The way Walma*t charges for tomatoes it's 2x more expensive than gas. That fruit/ veg box looks just fine to me. Vegetables and fruit rejected by supermarkets because they're not perfect shapes or sizes- that attitude really, really gets my goat.
Quite a bit cheaper than supermarket prices, on par with a greengrocer, a little more than direct from the produce marketThat's a good idea. How much cheaper are they that way?
I get romas at Walmart for around .98 cents a pound I think? I don't buy the other tomatoes.Cost passing too! We still have to pay for those. The way Walma*t charges for tomatoes it's 2x more expensive than gas.![]()
You know me, I don't buy any of them. Sometimes when it says 'Ketchup'... (Probably be making that here in a minute.)I get romas at Walmart for around .98 cents a pound I think? I don't buy the other tomatoes.
