What produce/ingredients did you buy or obtain today (2025)?

That’s one thing we love about this area - farmstands every mile or so, they’re everywhere, selling locally-grown peaches, apples, blueberries, blackberries, plums, and melons, and multiple varieties of each, and most farmstands are located right at the orchards, so it’s as fresh as fresh can be.
I hate you!
I kid ...
That so sounds like where my mo grew up, and we kids would go there many a summer ... I'd eat fruit all day long!

Sounds like here! 👍

Next year I will have to have made another commercial capable dehydrator. I had one in Nevada that would make 6 lbs. of meat into jerky overnight but once again that darn U-Haul trailer wasn't large enough. 🙄

Had a coupon for the pizza, and I generally like their sauce, so we’ll see…

Cuke, carrots, and peppers from Mr. Organic Man around the corner from us.

The absolute last bag of romaine lettuce!

I used to buy those Lance crackers a lot but now I've deconstructed those down to a box of Ritz and me looking in the fridge going "Let's see...". 👍
So my husband was a dedicated Ritz cracker guy for a long time and I would stock up on them when on sale (within a reasonable expectation of using by expiry dates). He doesn't like Nabisco brand that look just like them, I tried that. I tried some off brands to save money a few times, cautiously just buying one or two boxes, even Aldi's (he generally likes their brand products just fine), and he didn't like them. But a few months ago I bought this knock-off brand from Dollar Tree for $1.25 for the same sized box and he says they are better than Ritz. They look identical. He has to have his cheese and crackers everynight with pepperoni and olives. Honestly, they are just a vehicle for cured meats and cheese, I think they all taste pretty much the same, but he doesn't. Glad I found a less expensive alternative!

Sometimes it gets deconstructed to a fork...
