That, in all seriousness, is the nicest, most beautiful thing anyone has ever said about me. Thank you!![]()
On reflection, I thought it made you sound a bit like one of those Hallmark characters.

I’d have to have a better name, something to make the ladies swoon, like Burley Treefeller or something like that.On reflection, I thought it made you sound a bit like one of those Hallmark characters.![]()
So so goodI’d have to have a better name, something to make the ladies swoon, like Burley Treefeller or something like that.
Ahhhh, I’m getting picture…me bedecked (can a Burley be bedecked? Maybe kitted out?) in a red flannel shirt (over a fatigue sweater) and Wrangler jeans (tight fittin’ of course), living as a recluse up the side of a mountain, nursing a broken heart courtesy of my high school sweetheart, who left me for the star quarterback and homecoming king, only to find that now, 20 years later, she’s returned from the big city as a real estate developer, tasked with turning the mountain into yet another soulless ski resort, but not to worry, because even though we’re initially at odds, it’s obvious the old magic is there, and through my steadfast guardianship of the natural beauty of the mountain (not to mention my timber-like arms, tree trunk legs, and…oh well, let’s stop the wood analogies before I get into trouble!), she begins to understand that life isn’t all about the next big development, the next contract…it’s about something a little more important…that feeling of being in a special place with that special someone…and now kiss like you’re fond of each other, but a wholesome fondness, not some sicko sex fondness…and CUT! That’s a wrap people, let’s get this back to the studio heads and get set up for the next one we’re shooting in 3…2…1…ACTION!
We open on a small town, where Ashley Sweetbottom is struggling to make her family’s cookie bakery a success, but the bills keep piling up, and there’s a rumor the big global corporate snack cake company Tilly’s Treats is sending someone into town incognito to scout buying her out…but wait, who’s this handsome stranger who just walked in…
It practically writes itself! So so good![]()

I hate when they reboot shows that I still consider “new*” shows.I'm currently rewatching "Royal Pains". I'm impatiently waiting on the Nurse Jackie reboot that's in development right now. That show was excellent and they are bringing it back 10 years later.

I'm usually right there with you. Anything brought back to life usually ends up completely ruined and disgraced and should have ended up being left alone. But this show kind of ended on a "cliff hanger" and everyone always wanted more. When I first found the show, I binged all 7 seasons in one weekend and actually rewatched it immediately upon finishing it. That's how good it was. So I'm very anxious to see the "reboot", or "sequeal" or whatever you want to call it. It's been literally just over 10 years since it ended,I hate when they reboot shows that I still consider “new*” shows.
* “New” is defined by me as anything made after 1984.
