What will you be watching on TV tonight (2025)?

Started watching "Night of the Comet" (1984) one of the few zombie related movies/shows I can deal with.

Yeah, I don’t really like zombie movies much, but that one’s not too bad.
What was that one that was from the 1970s or earlier that was so campy it was funny? Was that Night of the Living Dead?

Night of the Living Dead…I wouldn’t call that campy at all - it’s late ‘60’s, though, black & white, people are trapped in a farmhouse fending off zombies, does that sound like it?

I don’t particularly care for it, but that was a groundbreaking film, generally recognized as starting the modern zombie film genre. It’s on a lot of those “Greatest Films of All Time” lists.

I agree. And so many remakes and sequels! OY VIE!
Now we have all the stupid Walking Dead shows/spin-offs. Enough already.

A Hallmark movie, two episodes of Babylon 5, and an episode of Ghosted. We finished up Lidia Poët yesterday.

The Hallmark movie had a novel plot for a change…sort of. Two angels sent to Earth to make sure two soulmates meet…but the joke’s on them because the reason they were put together for that assignment in the first place was because…
their boss in heaven (Gabriel) was secretly matchmaking them!
🤯

I think maybe the only zombie movie I like might be Shaun of the Dead.

There are probably others, but zombies and mummies…nope. Don’t care for them.
I didn’t care for that one started watching but got to stupid.
I think the only other zombieish movie I like is The Omega Man (Charlton Heston) didn’t like the remake with Will Smith.
There may be one or two more if I think about it.

I’d like to watch Brainstorm but not free anywhere.

Have Logan’s Run and Altered States in my que.

Edit: I just put three Charlie Brown (Great Pumpkin, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) movies in my que also. Haven’t been able to watch them for years till DD got Apple.
I use to watch them every year and the Dolly Madison ice cream commercials. LOL
