'our town' does a "restaurant week" every year - and in conjunction, a 'bar tender's contest'
mixologists come up with 'their best new and exciting' cocktail.

the one I found most exciting - and it's dead simple to replicate - a standard Manhattan, straight-up, with a swirled twist of orange peel.
delightful 'tones' to the usual....

Just back from the beach, back to the apartment and this is soooooo refreshing!

One of my most favoritest beers, and i don't drink alot of beer.
This is brewed here in Hawaii, on the Island of Maui (we're on Oahu) - support local!
The super cool glass is from a bar in Waikiki, we've been a few times, very unique in it's so old school tiki bar.
Good beer, pupus (appetizers) and loads od fun - live music every night - no cover charge -I hope that who ever left these beer glasses paid for them ....

That's the good bit!
A proper Weissbier, for example, should have some remaining yeast at the bottom.
