I've had home brews where there's 'sludge' in the bottom... Close your eyes and gulp???

I make bread so no issues with beer...That's the good bit!
A proper Weissbier, for example, should have some remaining yeast at the bottom.
Some are meant to have some "sludge".I've had home brews where there's 'sludge' in the bottom... Close your eyes and gulp???![]()
Not heard of it..there is also a filtered version of Weissbier - "Kyrstal"
I prefer it, less 'sweet' on the aftertaste.
it's also not too popular in USA - hard to find - apparently most have been trained to the yeast sediment as the identifying 'factor'
Will keep my eyes open next time I travel to Europe
