Whatcha drinking (2025)?

Omg I love Yngwie!

Big fan of his early albums.

Anyway let’s get this thread back on track:

I just love everyone's glasses!
I have a problem, it's called I collect far too many dish&glass ware!
I've been looking for a Nick & Nora as well as a Coupe.
I truly do not need more glassware, but now that I've reintroduced myself to an evening cocktail, rather than simply wine, I want fancier glasses.
This morning, I took photos of our glassware, just so you don't feel you're alone in the world. Or guilty.
The first lot are from our wedding, 44 years ago. Some still have the original sticker. Bohemian crystal.
Glasses 1.jpg

This second lot, well I know the top shelf contains glasses from my in-law's wedding. 75 years ago. They're extremely delicate and probably odd numbers. Note the cognac snifters on the left. Last time I drank cognac was about 30 years ago. The coloured ones on the right - no idea where they came from.
Glasses 2.jpg

The ones on the left ( which I hate - they remind me of the glass used in lavatory windows) were bought about 10 years after we married. The ones on the right; about 10 years ago, "because they were pretty" (pretty stupid, IMHO).

Glasses 4.jpg

Tumblers for water, whisky, who knows?
Glasses 5.jpg

Cheapo glasses for daily use. The painted ones on the left (wife painted them) are for when she plays canasta. There are 3 fewer right now, because when they were playing last week, the dog blundered through the table and broke 3.

Glasses 6.jpg

Finally, this abomination. X 12. A friend just died suddenly, and her sister gave us these. They're about 10" tall and look as if they were made from empty beer bottles.

I donated alot of my dishware that I had paid to have moved FOUR times now!
I had a large collection that was handed down to me by my Great Grandmother, and both of my Grand Mothers.
I've whittled a bunch, now I need to work on the everyday dishes, I have more than I will ever use.
