Whatcha drinking (2025)?

DH requested a "sip from one of your nice lemon martinis"
I had just watched this video and had a thought ...
To my usual recipe for a Skinny Lemon Drop, I added about 1 ounce of filtered (reverse osmosis) water + 6 fresh ice cubes (as Chef John suggests) and gave it all a good shake (I'm a simple gal, I use a good `ole Mason jar as my shaker )
I let DH have the first sip, and it was a big one.
He held it for a moment swallowed and pronounced, "that's my favorite cocktail!"
That's all ya get bud-o!!
I gave it a taste and WOW!
That little bit of water really opened up the flavor!!!

I'd like to add that by drinking my Martinis in a nice glass as seen below

I tend to consume my cocktails much more slowly.
If it's left in the Mason jar it was combined in

I have a dangerous habit of CHUGGING my drink!

What is that Black XPA? I find it really intriguing. My next choice would be the Northern Red.

I believe you when you say they are all Aussie beers - that's the tease part :) Not to mention the weather there - not fair again :D
