Abit too many gin & tonics by the fire with a friend of mine.
The gin ran out and we moved to vodka & tonic.
We also finished a full kg of nicely cooked chicken thighs between the 2 of us

One of my Neighborhood Gal Pals gave me some fresh Lemons from her tree in the backyard ... can you say Skinny Lemon Drop?
DH asked, "what is that?"
I replied, "a martini.""
DH: WHAT! watch it with that, you know you and vodka aren't the best of friends

TRUE DAT!
But I haven't had vodka since 1989 ... it wasn't good.
But I'm older and wiser now, know your limits. [edit - auto correct doesn't know the difference between no and know]

I got this cocktail topped off, for free, and given a to-go-cup!!!!
So cool!!!

Yes, Duvall St is a great place to hang out. I've got friends who still live down there.
