I've been wanting to do this for a whiles now:
side-by-side comparison of a "top shelf" Margarita and let's say midway down the aisle ingredients.

My recipe was:
2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. each Orange Liquor and freshly squeezed Persian Lime Juice
Shaken, not stirred, for exactly 30 seconds each in identical Mason Jars with 4 fresh Ice Cubes.
Poured out into chilled glasses

HOLY COW!
Top shelf, aka Cointreau & 100% White Agave Tequila Blanc is heads & tails BETTER than Jimmy's!!!
The aroma alone was intoxicating!
The bur in my saddle is, I just opened that bottle of Triple Sec so it'll be awhile before we invest in a bottle of the good stuff.
