Whatcha Drinking (2026)?

Y'know, as a young adult, who didn't really no 💩 from shin olla, when I went out to the bars & clubs with friends, my drink of choice was what I THOUGHT was a Bull Dog - Grapefruit Juice and Vodka over ice.
I just asked Doctor Google what was in a Bull Dog and she said that I am very wrong!
It's Vodka, Triple Sec, Orange Juice, Lime Juice, Grenadine and a garnish of Maraschino Cherry and Orange Slice.
Sounds like a jacked up Shirley Temple to me!
I may need to search out a bottle of Grenadine ...

I just remembered that my SIL used the "juice" in the jar of the Maraschino Cherries in her Old Fashion every evening.
I have that!!!
 
My coworker recently tried an interesting experiment - he barrel-aged his own scotch.

He bought a cask, filled it with sherry, emptied it, and then filled it with a youngish scotch. We sampled the results last night and it was really quite nice!
