That's an age ole question, What's For Dessert?

I looked high and low for a thread that was just about what you ate for dessert
(not necessarily what you made though, there's other threads here for that),
and couldn't find just a general "this-is-what-I-had", so...

This is for DH, I don't really care for chocolate all that much.
My Triple Chocolate Half-Sized Bundt Cake.
I sprinkled a bit more nuts & coconut on to his slice and he loved it.
I asked him if he'd like a glass of cold milk or maybe a cup of coffee with his cake and he replied, "not right now thank you, but with my next piece I would."

Snap im with you

Yeah, after I posted above, I went and got a big bowl of blueberries and strawberries and had it with a small slice of cheesecake. My DH's accountant sent him a cheesecake a few weeks back and I divvied it up into individual slices for the freezer. So technically it's not dessert since it was around 6:30PM and it was 2x the amount of berries than cheesecake.

My last dessert was about 3 weeks ago for Harry's birthday 🎂

That sounds like dessert to me, and a great one at that!
We'll eat a dessert pretty much any time of day and not necessarily after a meal either, maybe that's all we'll have.

Sara Lee's Butter Pound Cake, sliced thick-ish, covered in whipped cream and macerated Strawberries, mmm!
I like that 'juice' from the berries too, in account as I like to use some sort of booze with the berries. :whistling:

I saw that cake peeking out from underneath and immediately recognized it as Sara Lee!
