The world's most popular meat is pork. Which meat do you eat most often and why? And if you don't eat meat at all then please feel free to tell us why.
Pork - to me, it seems like as a category, it has the most variation. Chops, ground, roasts, bacon, hams, etc…they’re all really distinct compared to each other.
Other than that, I just prefer it. It’s hard to go wrong with pork, AFAIC.
I save pork chops in the freezer all the time. Why aren’t you able to save them in the freezer?Pork chops, you can’t save them in a freezer, you have to eat them right away.
You can save them, but they will be like eating cardboard. I cook before I save them. It has to have a bit of sauce because freezing is dehydrating.I save pork chops in the freezer all the time. Why aren’t you able to save them in the freezer?
That’s not been my experience at all. I vacuum-seal them and they freeze fine and taste great. You can save them, but they will be like eating cardboard. I cook before I save them. It has to have a bit of sauce because freezing is dehydrating.
Yes, the key word is vacuum-seal, I don’t do that. That’s not been my experience at all. I vacuum-seal them and they freeze fine and taste great.
Does that happen for you with other meats, like a beef steak or boneless skinless chicken breast?
Someone voted 'other meat'. I'm curious...
