That actually was my breakfast at times, when I was drinking heavily. Except I was a rum and cola drinker. But there would be nights where I would keep drinking well into the morning, and then make myself some eggs just before I was about to crash in bed as the sun was coming up, lol.
However you might be on to something here, because now I'm thinking of some creative ways to work a little liquor into the breakfast recipes. Why not some banana rum butter pancakes? Or perhaps some french toast with a whiskey spiked maple syrup. You could probably add a little whiskey to the egg batter too, which may caramelize and form a nice browning on the french toast. Or maybe some whiskey glazed nuts to go over top of either.
There are certainly a number of spiked coffee drinks you could make with whiskey and rum too.
I bet you could even form some sort of bourbon glaze on bacon or sausage links too.
