I hate cleaning of any sort but most of all I hate cleaning the oven. Luckily I can afford a once a year professional oven clean. They will do the cooker hood too, which I find impossible.

Next most hated is kitchen tiles/splashbacks (on the walls). Where does all that grease and stuff come from? My health and mobility also mitigate against cleaning.

What about you? Maybe you enjoy cleaning?

I'm picky about the granite countertops being clean. Once a week -everything- comes off the counters and the island and they get cleaned to a mirror shine. They're done daily as needed but when I wake up on Monday the kitchen is ready for another round. I can't think of a worst thing to clean since I like clean in the kitchen and do it as I go but the countertops take the longest.

Impressive. No mirror shines in my kitchen.

Kitchen cabinet fronts/doors, especially over the cook top.
I did learn a trick long ago on how to keep the very tops of the cabinets fairly clean:
line them with waxed paper.
You simply throw them out every so often and put down a fresh sheet.

The gas stove and and cabinet faces. I wipe down the stove during and after every use, and do a deep clean about every couple of weeks, which is a royal pain. Unlike my quartz countertops, my black cabinets don't hide grease or drips at all, and so they require a lot of elbow grease to keep clean.

The kitchen floor. It's hard with keeping up with the crap that gets walked into the house. My OH can't wear slippers or inside shoes... I'm currently banned (by nth podiatrist - development this week but i had seen it coming) from wearing anything except for my hiking boots. Until recently I had been changing out of my hiking boots at the back door into sandals, but not now.

Otherwise, can I just say I hate cleaning? If it's specially something in the kitchen, all of it? Will that do?

OK, the bit of floor in front of the kitchen sink, where my OH stand to wash up. That spot is always the hardest part to get clean and keep it clean, in a farm.

The rest, I just ignore mostly.

Tops of cabinets don't even enter my radar!

I simply can't clean anything high up as I can't climb onto steps to do it. Its a problem also because I've shrunk in height considerably and can no longer reach top third of wall cabinet doors, to clean or top shelves. Very annoying! Not sure there is any solution except employ a cleaner which I can't afford.

The oven is the obvious one, but then there's the stove hood filter which accumulates oil vapour which becomes thick treacle-like deposits. I think I found a hack for the metal grille parts though, which is to fill the sink with hot water and dissolve a couple of dishwasher tablets in there and let them soak for an hour or so, then put them in the dishwasher. They come out pretty clean. The sponge inside them has to be replaced every couple of years though, and those aren't cheap.

I got tired of the sponge thing so I got some stainless steel scrubby pads and smooshed them into shape to fit... 👍
