I was driving along the shores of Lake George this morning when I spotted 2 squadrons of pelicans. I was able to stop at one of the rest stops and grab a few photographs.
This lake has been routinely dry for decades and only sporadically had water in it, but for the last 3-4 years it has had water and life has returned to it. A head count in this smaller squadron puts the numbers between 110-120!
