So last night:
Sherlock: 1
Mozambique spitting cobra: 0
And my boy got spat at, but we washed his eyes out and he's absolutely fine this morning :highfive:
So those snakes are seriously venemous! Do you see them often and are there rats and such outside for them to come to for food?

They are incredibly accurate spitters...

Like all snakes (except that scary black mamba), they are normally quite shy.
There are lots frogs and birds here, as well as gecko's etc

I had a road trip for work earlier in the week with an overnight stay in which I drove about 700 miles over the 2 days. The roads were mostly empty on my way across Southern Ohio to West Virginia especially. I was visiting rural towns instead of metro areas for a change. It was really nice, as too often I'm driving on busy highways with clenched knuckles as I grip the steering wheel.

Edited to add that I have one of those "hands free" cell phone holders on my dash so it was easy to slow down (no one was behind me for miles) and snap the photo without being distracted or careless...

I miss the product purchasing options in "the big city" but I do love that rural driving experience I live in now.
