A favorite restaurant of ours..

One of my friends used to live across the street from a Polish restaurant in Toronto..one thing I do remember was the Pirogi and the large portions...as students, we used to eat there because we could bring enough home to eat again the next day...

Yes, I can imagine .. The traditional Eastern European cuisines, tend to be on the "stogy side " (starches and heavy) with extremely large portions .. However, things have been changing in Eastern Europe and many Chefs who have studied in London or France, as well as Italy and Spain, Denmark, have returned to their home lands and have opened their own restaurants of the modern new Cuisines using the same products however, lightening them up !!
