I’m thinking a sweet version, made with rice pudding, would be good. I wish I’d thought of that when the strawberry challenge first started!

Yeah, I think a marinara style dipping sauce is done a lot. That's what restaurants around here do.

I'm pretty sure there is a sweet version... let's see, arancini dolce....YEP! With chocolate:

And I'm thinking, lemon cream with limoncello.

You could prepare the rice like regular arroz con leche and then fill it with something like nougat or marzipan or just serve them with a sweet sauce like churros.

EDIT: any kind of custard might work out, prefrozen of course
