I tried the clue on family this evening. (Just a little beer/wine/cider/alcohol-of-choice). They got it!
I'm completely stuck - it is a food related answer isn't it? Perhaps you could give us a hint...
I'm having trouble working out which is the 'definition' part of the clue.
