Snails anyone?

Now... periwinkles are a different story. We used to capture these on vacations to Maine in the 70s. We'd cook them fresh. They're both mollusks but these we caught each day that we wanted to eat them. (I found them ONCE in a local supermarket earlier this decade, and had to buy. Much more time intensive to remove from their shells than I remembered from my carefree days back in the 70s!!!)
