Geez girl! WTF?? Glad you are getting better
I'm still in ICU. Been here since collapsing at my doctors surgery rather too many days ago. I've no memory of bring transferred by ambulance to the local hospital 40 minutes away, or the subsequent transfer to the main city hospital. I spent 6 days on life support unable to breath for myself. Double pneumonia was diagnosed. I think I've been in ICU for 11 days now. I'm hoping to be discharged to a ward tomorrow but they need a specialist ward bed (respiratory) for me and until they get one, I stay in ICU.

Right, I'm sorry but that is a much as I can manage. I'm exhausted yet again.

This morning in the kitchen washing the breakfast pots, I dropped a breakfast bowl on the floor thankfully it was empty, so at 07.05 this morning I was on my hands and knees picking up the big bits then had to get the vacuum cleaner down to pick up the little bits

I'm still alive. My husband is glad to know this.
I'm out of ICU and on a ward.

I have found out that my oxygen stat's were that low when my gp called for an ambulance that the paramedics told my husband I should be dead.

It probably explains the missing 24 hrs or so... I have no memory from my doctors surgery to waking up in icu in my 2nd hospital after an air ambulance transfer.

12 days in ICU, 6 of those on life support and I'm hoping to get home for the weekend. Fingers crossed.

My view this morning.

It's all when that happens. Were you in bare feet as well? I usually am and hate it when it happens because you are invariably left stranded!

We are all glad you are still alive. Not a bad view for a hospital bed! Those hills on the horizon would keep me going. Last time I was in hospital there was no view at all.
I've been lucky with the staff opening the blinds for me in icu because they had noticed I often just faxed of of the window and on the ward no-one wants the window bed because it's colder over here. It doesn't bother me, I just have an extra blanket and watch the view. I prefer to have a window bed! It's not bad as views go for a capital city!

We have had 2 visitors today and so ordered 2 buffets, 1 guy barely ate a thing so there is quite a bit left from that buffet, although the crisps didn't last long :whistling:

I prefer a bed by the window so there is something to look out at, admittedly the view from our local hospital isn't a patch on @SatNavSaysStraightOn view but better than staring at a wall.
