One of our directors came in today hobbling...apparently she fell and hurt her hip whilst skiing.....no she did not get any sympathy

Yesterday my bad ear was a bit wet, didn't think too much of it, this morning full on infection. Called the doctor 'you are number 38 in the queue'...got through pretty quick and have an appointment with an actual doctor at 13.50 today
Normally for minor stuff you see a guy who is a former paramedic with extra training to take the heat of the doctor so was expecting to see him not and 'actual' doctor.

Really not feeling it on the cooking front at the moment, it happens occasionally but normally only lasts a couple of days, this time I’m heading up towards two weeks!

Heyho. Maybe when everything settles down I’ll get my cooking mojo back.

Lullabelle my DH notoriously starts to get an ear infection right before leaving on a trip, AND doesn't tell me!
Then we get to our destination, maybe a day or two later, "OI! I think I need to go to Urgent care. My ear is killing me ..."
