It's December here by six hours!!

Cooked yesterday but a few left for today. Prawn (Shrimp) Cutlets with Homemade Plum Sauce.

What are the pink flecks?
Persian Rose petals.

They come in 4 forms ranging from a powder, to the petals still in a bud.

Those were from the 2nd container.

I make my own saffron, rose petal & wild thyme tea, so buy the parts individually and mix accordingly. It's much cheaper than $24 for 14 tea bags even if a tea bag does make 1litre.

I buy loose rose hip and hibiscus leaves from Amazon. I mix them together and steep in a tea ball. Makes a wonderful hot (or cold) tea with honey added. Packed with vitamins and helps with fever and cold.
 
Mexican fritatta with chorizo, caramelized onions, fresno chili, cheddar and jack cheese, with garnishes of pico de gallo and crema.

2nd of December here.
Saturday so wife had scrambled eggs and bacon. I had 2 anzac biscuits with my tea.
About to make a ham n creamed corn sammy.
Tea ???
