Honey chicken (not homemade) and creamed Spinach (definitely homemade).

Pasta and salad yesterday. the salad was what was left in the fridge: iceberg lettuce, Napa cabbage and a bag of rugula/rocket, but topped with fried capers and toasted sunflower kernels. The pasta was made with roasted tomatoes and garlic, some sundried tomatoes and balsamic vinegar added for fun, and that was that.

You are absolutely right. Our avocadoes are huge; a regular avocado weighs about 500 gms. There are about 5-6 varieties, too. Here are 3 of them:

Ooh, you have the variety that turns brick redish when ripe. We had a tree of those in the house we rented while waiting for our home to be built. They are great!
