I am working ! Providing tours for a group from New York City, through the Basque Country ..

Having a fabulous time .. We are 4 Tour Guides on this lengthy 14 day excursión and then I have one more for another 14 days .. That will bring us to the end of August ..

Little steel teapot of the 1950s belonged to my paternal.grandmother

I used to have a lovely little one cup teapot and a small egg poacher that were my dad's when he was single. I used them regularly until I got my first electric cooker about 18 or so years ago.

I have quite a collection of kitchenwares, cookware and odds and ends from my Great Grandmoms and my Grand parents ( one of my grandmothers is still alive and well ) ..

I shall have to take some photos when I get back to Barcelona the evening of the 20th ..

I don't think I'll recognise my chicks when I get home. They were only 11 weeks old when I was taken ill. They will be more than 16 weeks now and soon to start laying!

A brief trip to Perth today and a few photos, thus:

1) A rather cloudy view along the River Tay.
2) The Sheriff Court, a bastion of neo-classicism.
3) The Fair City experiences just a tiny touch of Art Nouveau.
4) The museum and art gallery.
5) A crowded Perth station at around four o'clock this afternoon.

Looks a bit like one of those main Street towns one sees in a film .. So quiet .. A bit too sleepy for my personal taste, however, lovely photographs ..

Do you have any photos?

Sorry, no. I don't really know what happened to them. The handle on the teapot split and the poacher was dying of old age. They may be somewhere in the garage in one of the boxes that need sorting out, otherwise they may have been thrown out.
