Hummus (, ; Arabic: حُمُّص, 'chickpeas'; full Arabic name: ḥummuṣ bi-ṭaḥini Arabic: حمص بالطحينة, 'chickpeas in tahini') is a Levantine dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas or other beans, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and garlic. It is popular in the Middle East and Mediterranean, as well as in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe. It can also be found in most grocery stores in North America and Europe.

Based loosely on Chocolate hummus
INGREDIENTS
Half a 400 g tin of chickpeas drained and rinsed
30g tahina
18g cacao
18g sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract...

1 cup fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup tahini
4 cloves garlic (I like it garlicky)
1/4 cup olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp sea salt flakes

So I was watching a video about this guy eating street frood. He got a pita with hummus, vegetables, oil & some kind of white sauce. It was all dripping down his hand & looked so good. I haven't been able to find that sauce. One person told me to try tzatziki but it had dill in it & tasted weird...
