But then the algoritims came and showed people only things that enforced what they already believed in. No opposing views, just staying in your own bubble, enfoorcing your own views.

No doubt that the internet started on a positive note. It took a few years for people to use it badly and work on destroying it. I made a good living doing internet commerce for quite a while. In the beginning I had 6 competitors. Now there are thousands of them. I shut it down because of my wife's stroke and my new role as caregiver and, frankly, I'm glad it is the past. I use some web sites that work overtime to prevent me from using it even though I have an account and I know the password. It's ridiculous.

The human brain is very complex, I’m not a believer in any theory but I can see it’s an intelligent design, our body, our brain, etc.
