I've always struggled with the name.I think the problem is the word 'frying'! Air fryers don't fry the food at all. They bake it.

Yeah, but fried air?Well it is really. It just doesn't sound so appealing to call it a mini fan (convection) oven.

Exactly and that is why I bought one, mainly so I didn't have to deal with used oil and so on. It can be useful for some foods though. Basically, all they are is small convection oven then .... so yeah, they don't "fry" anything. Deceptive marketing in my opinion.So the obvious question is:
