We have, it's on the Great Central Railway, they have a very nice station cafe.

Qamea, Fiji. Pronounced 'Gamaya' A rather exclusive eco 5 star adults only hotel with just 16 rooms. You ordered your evening meal over breakfast so chef could source only what was needed. The local fish of course was the very best stuff.

Quito, Ecuador. I was there for about 4-5 days back in 2000. Can't remember what I ate, although we went out to some nice restaurants, but I do remember asking for llapingachos for breakfast, and surprising all the kitchen staff!

Only have one for Q
Q is for Quebec - the first time I had frog legs here, it didn’t taste like chicken. Not very tasty the way it was cooked.

I'm surprised because I found them to taste like chicken, just a bit more tender, juicy...

Maybe the way they were cooked. They were grilled, very thin meat. Not very good chicken. Not even tender.

R for Rome in Europe
The first time I was in Rome, I think the local restaurant near me served very good Pana Cotta, different from what I made. I had this dish maybe 3 nights in a row.
The second time we stayed near the British Embassy, we found a very good gelato place.
Other food was just average, my husband was gluten free then so maybe he had a lot of steaks.

R - Recco, in Italy, where I had my first ever focaccia di Recco…vastly different than the usual airy focaccia we usually see.
Two tissue-thin layers of dough, with local cheese sandwiched in between - we loved it so much, I even made it at home, just to see if I could do it.
