Anybody have a good recipe for a Cheese Ball?

I'm late, but you can use it for other occasions, and for Christmases to come. A block of cream cheese, softened. About 1/2 cup of chopped green onion, and about 1/2 cup of chopped up salami or ham (or that dried beef stuff, pepperoni, whatever you want). Mix together and form into ball. Cheap, easy, and the perfect colors for Christmas, and everyone around here loves it.

I've never been to a Cheese Ball, but it sounds like the sort of occasion where you could get pickled.
