Ingredients:
1 large or 2 smaller heads of broccoli (approx. 300-400 g total weight), cut into florets with stems finely sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
salt and pepper, to taste
Method:
- Steam or boil the broccoli for approx. 3-4 mins, or until tender. Set aside to cool.
- Whisk the soy sauce, vinegar, oil, and honey in a large bowl. Season.
- Add the broccoli and half the sesame seeds, and marinate for 30 mins, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle over the remaining sesame seeds to serve.
- You can substitute a good quality apply cider vinegar for the rice vinegar.
- You can substitute peanut oil for the sesame oil.
