Beef Roast

Other than salt and pepper, I don't think that beef needs too much seasoning to make it into a great meal. The only other thing I would consider using is a glaze with mustard in it as beef and mustard together is amazing. Adding onions or shallots to the roasting tray is another way of adding great flavor and you can add the onions to the gravy if you want.
 
We are making a roast of beef for dinner tonight. I was just wondering how everybody prepares theirs and what spices they use.

I love to slow cook my beef. When I have time, I will put it in the slow cooker, cover it with water and I add the square broth (about 8). It will cook for 7 or 8 hours. Sometimes I will cut into the beef and add garlic. It turns out very tender and tasty. I love during beef because I can put it on and go about my day.
