Burger Bun Pie (#1) - Turkey Soup Bun:

Ingredients:

1) Turkey - 1 Cup
2) Potato, Russet - 1/4
3) Carrots, Baby - 8 to 10
4) Mushrooms, crimini, brown -4
5) Broccoli - 1/4 cup
6) Pearl Onion, Baby - 6
7) Mixed vegetables - 1/4 cup
8) Turkey gravy (prepared jar of) - 12 Oz.
9) Thyme - 1 tspn.
10) Rosemary - 1 tspn.
11) Marjoram - 1 tspn.
12) Basil - 1 tspn.
13) Black pepper - 1 tspn.
14) Hamburger Bun


Procedure:

NOTE: Use a glass bowl which is about the same diameter as the hamburger bun and about 3 to 4 inches deep.

1) Dice up the potato
2) Cross cut the baby carrots
3) Boil the potato and carrots until soft.
4) Remove roots, tips and skins from pearl onions.
5) Reduce to heat to medium to simmer.
6) Add the onions to the pot when potato and carrot soften.
7) Quarter or slice up the mushrooms and broccoli.
8) Dice up the turkey.
9) Add mushrooms, broccoli and turkey to the pot.
10) Add spices.
11) Stir while simmering.
12) Add gravy.
13) Stir and simmer.
14) Place burger bun bottom in glass bowl.

15) Pour turkey stew into bowl.
16) Cover with burger bun top.
17) Serve.
