Cheese Making at Home

Any cheesemaking happening?
About to make some Ricotta Maison (i.e. homemade ricotta 😅) using yoghurt, which I need to do as I bought a gallon of milk which is sitting in the fridge waiting to be used - don't drink the stuff, only make yogurt and cheese, so better get my skates on.

I laughed when I got to the part about smells of the milk and the barn... 😁
 
Made a batch, been a while since I last made, and forgot how much whey there is - a lot more than yogurt but not sour at all, so used some for my flatbread dough yesterday, worked well. Adds a tad extra chewiness which I like.

Not all that much cheese. 225g/8oz from 1L/1qt milk plus 250g/1 cup yogurt, but ok.
