Friend of mine got an HVAC job above the arctic circle and they ate pretty good. Can't go outside by yourself though, polar bears will get you...Huh, I had no idea there were chefs in Antarctica. I figured those guys would be eating freeze dried food and MREs for months on end, with maybe some seal meat to supplement.![]()

That applies to anywhere that is permanently frozen. When I was cycling through the tundra in northern Norway (even in 24hrs of daylight) the ground is permanently frozen, so you can not bury human waste. It does not decompose. you have take it with you to the nearest town, to be disposed of correctly.Yes, leave no trace!![]()
