Chocolate anyone?

It fits without saying that I have to be very careful with hot chocolate and what's in it because most have dairy in them.

I used to get a lovely Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate in the UK.

Since moving to Australia, I now get this one.

The blinds are closed and lights off at the nonentity, so the brown isn't that rich chocolate brown in the photos. Add you can see there is very little sugar in it. I typically have to add a little extra sugar using unsweetened soy milk.

I do love a good hot chocolate - it’s one of the beverages that is provided at my office (along with coffee [we have a fancy-pants espresso machine], and a variety of teas).

I like to make it from scratch, but if I’m feeling lazy I’ll use the packet stuff. Also like to add a glug or three of booze for an adult beverage.

One of the only nice things about having a cast on my leg last year was in the mornings on vacation - I’d wake up, crutch myself out to the living room, and husband would bring me a hot chocolate and a strudel for breakfast.
