There is something rather distasteful about the idea of eating as much food as possible, as fast as possible. But nevertheless there are some very popular TV shows which feature just that! If you had to compete in an eating competition, which food would you choose?

I think I'd do quite well in a chilli pepper challenge. But I did see one where a woman ended by rubbing a super hot chilli in her eyes. I'd draw the line at that.

I'm noting that a chilli pepper challenge would not be about the volume one could eat but the increasing heat strengths. I wouldn't do well on many quantity/volume based challenges.

Yep, so that’s it for me. There’s no dimension in the multiverse where some version of me is doing that.

Added to my list of things to outlaw once I’m Grand Poobah of the Universe. 😉

I think this is really a question about which food could you eat a lot of at one sitting. More than two portions, say. Obviously we aren't all going to want to enter those competitions! Its just a fun question not to be taken seriously.

I could eat quite a lot of eggs. I love eggs very much. Quite how many eggs I could eat at one sitting, I'm not sure. Maybe a dozen?

Oh well then, that’s another kettle of fish entirely…but I’m passing on a kettle of fish.

In my heyday, pizza. We used to have a place near us in Minnesota that served 24-inch round pizzas. I could easily eat a whole one myself. Measure that out. It’s impressive.

Certain sweets, like Twizzlers, I can eat until I puke (and have done). Potato chips/crisps, same thing (and same on the puking).

French fries, fried potatoes. Eggs - I’d never eat six eggs in a sitting, but slap a dozen deviled egg halves in front of me and POOF! they’re gone before you can say Cool Hand Luke.

Raw oysters. (Period)
Yep. I could probably join you on that one.
There's an island just off the north-east coast of Venezuela called Margarita. Incredible mangrove swamps, and therefore, incredible oysters. They're not big - about half the size of oysters I've eaten in the US and England, but they're really yummy.
One day, there were 3 of us sitting on the beach, and the oyster man came by. 24 dozen later...:hyper::hyper::hyper:
