Competitive eating - which food would you choose?

Spicy small meatballs....
I make them in quite large amounts with the idea of freezing them. Then I eat one, just to check if they came out OK. Next thing I know, they are all gone :angelic:

Freshly roasted peanuts or borrelnootjes* is another weak point. Once I start eating them, I just gotta finish them.

Failing that, raspberries!

Raw oysters. (Period)
Yep. I could probably join you on that one.
There's an island just off the north-east coast of Venezuela called Margarita. Incredible mangrove swamps, and therefore, incredible oysters. They're not big - about half the size of oysters I've eaten in the US and England, but they're really yummy.
One day, there were 3 of us sitting on the beach, and the oyster man came by. 24 dozen later...:hyper::hyper::hyper:

Well, we have a three way oyster eating competition lined up then!

Oh well then, that’s another kettle of fish entirely…but I’m passing on a kettle of fish.

In my heyday, pizza. We used to have a place near us in Minnesota that served 24-inch round pizzas. I could easily eat a whole one myself. Measure that out. It’s impressive.

Certain sweets, like Twizzlers, I can eat until I puke (and have done). Potato chips/crisps, same thing (and same on the puking).

French fries, fried potatoes. Eggs - I’d never eat six eggs in a sitting, but slap a dozen deviled egg halves in front of me and POOF! they’re gone before you can say Cool Hand Luke.
Do you remember that pizza buffet place CiCi's?

Lol, hard pass for me.

I'm with Gone Hiking I'll pass. Especially with my Diverticulitis. Overeating is a pretty big trigger for me. Lets say I didn't have any health problems and I was 25. I would probably choose cheeseburgers. Simply because I absolutely love a good burger!!! lol
