Deep fried ice cream.

my wife had some at a Vietnamese restaurant about 2 years ago. It's basically a scoop of ice cream battered and deep fried. A few others has it as well (dinner club) and raved about it. So about a year ago we had friends over for dinner. So I decided to make it. The ice cream scoop was formed the day before and put in the freezer. It has to be really frozen. Then straight from freezer to batter then fry for about 2 mins. I served mine with raspberry coulis. (From our own raspberries) it was a hit. Havnt made it since, I must rectify this.
