You need to cook the vegetables separately, and combine right before serving so that the flavors don't combine and taste muddy.

INGREDIENTS

Equal parts:

Frozen edamame, thawed
Frozen corn, thawed
Frozen green peas or black-eyed peas, thawed
1/4" diced red bell pepper
1/4" diced onion

Appropriate amount of butter, salt, and pepper

DIRECTIONS

Steam thawed vegetables and chopped red bell pepper in separate piles in a steamer basket until crisp tender. Remove from heat, set aside.

Add butter to a skillet and sautee onion over medium low heat until translucent and tender. Add steamed vegetables, season to taste, and warm through. Serve.
