Favorite Movies

Tomorrow will be the last time I post what movies I am watching as I will have finished going through my collection of movies. After tomorrow, I will post my movies by category and only post about new movies that I watch.

 I've been amazed at your collection. I never thought it would run out. You should meet a friend of mine. He has so many films that even if he watched them 12 hours a day he hasn't enough life left to live to watch them all.

I don't acquire every movie that I can, only the ones that I know I like or think that I'll like. I do have some that I don't like so much, but they were either part of a multi-movie DVD/Blu-ray or were featurettes included on DVDs/Blu-Rays. These will show up in my category lists (to come), but I will endeavor to rate movies as liked (*) or not liked (v).

Not necessarily a favorite but an iconic movie. Jaws - the original movie. In the U.S. there is Shark Week every July. Lots of documentaries, real life incidents, movies. The 1975 movie Jaws always shows up. It is so outlandish that it is laughable but the shark can still make me jump.
My favorite line is when Sherriff Brody (Roy Scheider) sees the shark face to face and tells the boat Captain Quint (Robert Shaw) "You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat".

My middle brother has two external drives each has multiple terabytes of storage. The first has 5 TB. It is filled with movies. IDK the capacity of his second drive but he did mention that it was half full. I do believe that my sweet brother is a movie junky.

Good morning. I have a road trip this morning, so no breakfast or coffee. It keeps me from having those natural urges, at least till I get where I'm going. I hate having to stop while driving.

The breakfast movie is "Star Wars IX, The Rise of Skywalker."

The mid-day movie will be "Terminator: Dark Fate."

That takes me to the last of my collection watched in release date order. Note that there are few 2020 movies and no 2021 movies at all in my collection. That can be attributed to the pandemic shutting down the movie industry.

Tomorrow, I will post a list of all of my 'Action' movies.

NOTE: I will mark good movies that I like, to some degree with (*) and others, I don't like with (v). Featurettes included on a DVD/Blu-ray disc will be marked with a (+).

So, let me ask the question - "What do rank among your favorite animation movies?"

WOW
Do you have all of those movies? You remind me of my middle brother. He has 3 or 4 multiple Tera Byte external drives with movies.
I tease him about his collection. He has watched all of his movies. I accuse him of hoarding. He has this enormous collection of movies but rarely watches movies he has previously watched. He just likes having them.
