Football

By the way, those big hits in the NFL are not about trying to injure an opposing player. It about "owning" that player. If you have a superstar running back on the other team, after the first few times he gets pasted by your defense, guess what that superstar is going to be thinking about every time he gets the ball. It probably won't completely mess with his head, but if it messes with his head just enough, he's going to have a bad game. A big hit is as much psychological as it is physical.

The late great Johah Lumo RIP. Lomu had a unique combination of power, size and speed that made him devastating with the ball in hand. He weighed 120 kg and was 1.96 metres tall, but could run 100 metres in 10.8 seconds.

He married a money hungry bit$&. The day after he died she started a fundraiser on Facebook. Caused an out roar. Sold everything she could as well. Dispicable woman.

It would be interesting to see a rugby team play 15 minutes against a top NFL defense with no American "football" protective gear.
Personally as an ex Welsh school boys second row, I doubt without armour they would have had the confidence to make 70 % of those hits . By the way Rugby Union is the "gentleman's" sport. Rugby league is not.

I played rugby in a working class suburb for two years, then I switched to rugby league, the Day I became professional was when Hornby rugby league offered new players a bottle of coke and a tub of ice cream. Yeah i know, I'm fickle. Lol.

Never switched codes mate, I got a one year ban from WRU as a schoolboy. A year later at 15 I fell out with my Mum and Dad nicked my elder brothers passport. I went travelling Europe. When I came back about 3/4 years later playing sport was not as attractive. I got my love of patisserie in Frejus near St Tropez. It was the only job I could get that fed me. The big plus was I worked from 23.00 hrs till 06.00 hrs. I would sleep till 12.00 and go to the beach. 1968 17 yrs of age topless French women. I would still be there if I had not been kicked out of France.

Lol, being working class I started work 6 weeks short of my 15 th birthday. Then a dad at 17 tied me up,for a few years. I remember walking down manly beach 20 years ago with my mate. Their was a topless woman sunbathing. he said come with me. He walked up to her and asked her the time. Never laughed so much.

Russ mate, our best friends here are Kiwis. Hermien retired last year as a COP and they move out here. She would have sorted them out!!! Seriously I love a good bit of violence as long as I'm watching. My good friend in the UK is this guy, we met in a Gym in North Wales after my heart attack. Two old men sparring was quite funny to us.
