Fried Bologna Sandwiches

Oh my I remember the bologna sandwiches. They have to be on white bread with either mustard or miracle whip, depending on your taste buds. I always wanted mustard. I was never fond of miracle whip. My brother in law loves the cheap can of tuna with miracle whip.

BLT's should only be made with Hellmans/Best foods. The sandwich rules are complex.

OK - got it. I was confusing it with Instant Whip which is (or was) an instant packet dessert - just add milk and whip and it sort of semi solidifies. I'm sure you have similar.

MW's label says salad dressing. Doesn't claim to be a mayo sub even though many folks use it as such. I used to use it exclusively in place of mayo.

Wikipedia states that it was developed as an alternative to mayonnaise. Also, Kraft's own advertising frequently plays up the MW versus mayonnaise debate.

Good enough for me.

I don't think of it as a substitute for mayo, or anything else. I like it in certain applications, and like mayo in others, and mustard in others, etc. I don't have as many food rules as you seem to have.

Mmmmmm butterscotch angel delight....its so wrong, but tastes so good.
Especially with ginger biscuit crumbs on top.

Bologna is more or less a giant hotdog. Although I like it fried, grilling is much better, IMHO.
