How dead simple, but delicious is this, I ask you?


Grilled Zucchini/Courgette

serves 2

Ingredients:

1 large Zucchini/Courgette
≈ 1/2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
≈ 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
≈ 1/4 tsp. freshly ground Black Pepper
≈ 1/2 tsp. granulated Garlic


Method:

Preheat a grill (either an outdoor Gas/Charcoal or indoor Oven/Top Broiler) to high heat
Wash & pat dry the Zucchini/Courgette
Trim off each end
Slice long-ways (across the equator/horizontally), exposing most of the inner flesh
Arrange the veg, flesh-side up, on a tray or plate
Drizzle the Oil over the entire length of each half
Sprinkling the seasonings evenly over the tops
Grill to the desired texture, we like crisp/tender, turning each half on the BBQ a quarter-turn half way through cooking for nice hash marks on the flesh
