What do folk think about having a house thread?
Somewhere to put your DIY, interior decorating, things you’re thinking of buying or have bought, or even just a satisfying clear out and reorganisation
Sometimes it’s nice to show everyone little home improvements or a freshly painted gate or even just ask a question that’s house related.

Personally I’d love to see what sofa MG decides on!

I think its because its so much money to spend in one go. Its also the fit - its not a large room - the colour and whether to go for leather. I think I'll end up with off white or cream simply because it can then be jazzed up with brightly coloured cushions. Its also a dark room and dark sofas would look gloomy. Also, do I need one if them to be a sofa bed in case I end up having to sleep down here again? Also, I don't want soft, yielding sofas as I won't be able to get up out if them again. Nice firm cushions needed.

This thread could be cool, provided my wife doesn't see it. She doesn't need anymore ideas, lol! I finished installing and painting the maple wainscoting in our hallway today.
