How do you cut toast/sandwiches?

Occasions where you halve your toast and sandwiches, how do you prefer to cut them, north-to-south (like some kind of heathen), or diagonally (like an enlightened person)?

I’ll let you guess which toast is MrsT’s, and which is mine.

Corner to corner, I was brought up proper. However, which ever way you cut them, do make sure the butter gets to the edges.

How do I cut toast?
Usually with a large knife, but I have been known to use a machete...

Most of the time, I use straight across cuts, but certain sandwiches are traditionaly cut a particular way, such as a Cuban sandwich.

Corner to corner. I recently asked wht I did this? Its because toast is eaten 1 corner then the other. Convenient.

I must confess I don't always cut my toast, but when I do, it's always diagonally

My wife hates bread (a hip thing?)
But she cant resist a fresh loaf when getting a loaf home. Opening the end and buttering the crust then vegemite.
Scoffs it down.
I hate crusts. I have nice hips btw.
