Actually, maybe I can't do this. I've gotten to the whipped cream stage, but I can't get it past that. It's been 20 minutes. From what I've read, it should have separated by now. It's 36% butterfat, so the cream is good. Maybe it's too cold?Good luck. Let me know how it works out.

Absolutely. A bit after the fact - only just seen this thread - but any well flavoured oil or fat (or mixture) works just as well - like EVOO for example- which is my preference - or bacon fat as suggested earlier in the thread. I saw a beautiful kitchen aid in the picture.It was my first thought but I reckoned if you got breathless typing making butter wouldn't have been a goer.
