Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite recipes: Keto Garlic Butter Mushrooms. Making them a tempting addition to any meal, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian.

Mushrooms are my go-to when I want to prepare a quick side dish that also meets my keto goals. Loaded with essential nutrients and low in carbohydrates, mushrooms are a powerhouse of nutritional goodness.


With the right amount of fresh thyme, the recipe becomes herby and fresh to balance out the flavors of earthy, deep crimini mushrooms. For a slight tang, you can add balsamic vinegar to the recipe to make it more flavorful.

This easy-to-make recipe is another reason I like it.

It just takes fifteen minutes to make and another fifteen minutes to cook the mushrooms until they are crispy. This makes it a perfect dish for weekend feasts, busy weeknights, or outdoor barbecue sessions.

Ingredients​

  • 500gm mushrooms
  • 2 minced cloves
  • 2 minced cloves
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp freshly chopped thyme or fresh coriander
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Kosher or pink salt

Instructions​

  • Put a pan over medium heat and melt butter in it.
  • Once melted add crimini mushrooms into it along with chopped thyme.
  • Let it cook for 10 minutes and keep it in the pan for making mushrooms crips until they turn golden brown from all sides.
  • Add garlic, black pepper, balsamic vinegar, and Kosher salt as per your taste.

    Serve hot.

This looks absolutely delicious! I love how quick and simple the recipe is – garlic and thyme are always such a perfect match with mushrooms. I’ve tried a few different mushroom sides, but I’ve never thought of adding balsamic vinegar for that extra tang, will definitely give it a go next time.
