Kitchen items you love.

... the engines cannae take it captain… 😂

Can't resist this one. There was a time all 3 hot water heaters, 1 million BTU each, were out and all 5 pools were cooling off so the GM is freaking out and quizzing me in the weekly meeting on a timeline to repair. I, displaying no emotion, told him the dilithium crystals were being shipped overnight and the installer was on standby. He missed it but most of the rest of the mgmt team present didn't...

It all ended well. I had it going by EOD. 😁

Ooh, I've got one - some kit I actually LOVE. Every time I use it I think 'best purchase ever' and it was dirt cheap - like less than 10 quid equivalent or something. [EDIT] I think this might actually be the same one.

Behold my 4-egg frying pan that turns out these lovely little circular eggs. Its non-stick is still going strong something like 5 or 6 years later. I get it out when it's English Breakfast night.

Err how many people were you cooking breakfast for here?

I finally thought if something I love rather than like. Its mainly because of the pattern of course. Kitchen bling! But its a good stay sharp knife too:

These were a recent purchase, can’t remember who recommended them, but they do work very well and I find I reach for them first out of the myriad spatulas I have.

And I do smile just about every time I look at my Teak Haus cutting board:

I like pretty things that also work well.
